Whoah. November 1? Really? Time feels like it's in fast-forward... Well, the band and I have been in the rehearsal studio, hammering out new tunes like its nobody's business. It's sounding good, and I'm getting excited for the time when we hole up in the studio again to get these babies recorded.

Until then, however, if you are curious about what's to come... I'm doing a couple of solo shows in which I'm gonna bust out a lot of this new stuff. Friday, November 13 at the Bazaar Cafe in SF, I'm doing an "In the Round" with 2 fabulous songwriters, Matt Langlois & Drew Pearce. It's at 7pm. Also... I'm on a Christmas album! OK, I know what you're thinking. But this album is a totally rad, danceably funky holiday album. I sang choir-style on the remix version of "Deck the Halls". You can listen to the tracks, and check it out more here: thisisyourbrainonxmas.com

It's here. The much anticipated, second installment of the Cyndi Harvell video blog series. Actually, this one's more like a short film. The biggest little summer blockbuster of the year. Pacific Northwest Tour #1. Everything you want to know (or don't want to know) about Cyndi and the band on tour. =)

AND... if that weren't news enough... we've got a super exciting gig that fell onto our plate just yesterday -- we're opening up for the Arc Angels at Slim's in San Francisco next Saturday, July 18th! April 10

So we've been getting a lot of airplay on americana radio across the country -- even over in Europe. And our "Slow Way" video is even on this French TV site (Check it out 'cause your view just adds to the numbers and makes us look even cooler!) Note, that the playback is a little funny so if you really want to watch the whole thing, click on it on the french site, then come back our video page to watch it. =) Anyway, the French thing is here. 

Also, we've been getting some nice reviews of the record. There's one on the prestigious Americana-UK.com site. Another here at mwe3.com. 

We also just did a photo shoot with photographer George McLachlan at the Burlington Hotel at Port Costa, CA. Pictures will be posted pretty soon so check back often. They are super cool.

Thanks so much to everyone who joined us for our CD release last week. It was an AMAZING night. And now the album is officially "out there." Look for it on itunes or amazon. Yay!

Now its on to the next thing... which happens to be this week! We're going to be in Berkeley Thursday night at the beloved Starry Plough. Joining us will be Cyndi Harvell's own John Howland and his band plus a set of funky danceable bluegrass by Absynth Quintet. It's going to be a fabulous evening. Check the Gigs page for the details.

That's right... its a brand new website! Come in and make yourself comfortable.

And not only that... but as you may know, there's a new album coming, too! In just a couple days, we'll finally be having the big CD release party. Friday, February 6, in fact. It's going to be at the Bottom of the Hill in San Francisco (17th @ Missouri). Doors are 8:00pm, 21+ and $10. But if you come early enough, $10 gets you free chinese food and fortune cookies, along with a whole slew of super-fantastic music, and not just one, but THREE cd releases from our label, Fortune Records. You can't pass this up. We'll be on first - also: Trevor Childs & the Beholders, Hey! Brontosaurus and DJ sets by the Rondo Brothers, plus lots of special guests...
